When It Comes to Publishing Your Proceess...
Sometimes the book comes first, other times you deliver your magic and then turn it into a book.
For Melody, it was a little of both.
A practicing therapist, Melanie Ryan BETA tested The Golden Shadow Method ONE time and saw great transformation in her students. She knew she was on to something, so she immediately turned it into a book, with my help.
She followed my process and it got her clear not only on what her book was about, who it was for, and how she could use it to build her practice, but it gave her clarity and helped her to hone her method as well.
Her book solidified the method into tangible form, and it became what she is known for.
Here's What Happened
Melanie created a buzz in her community so when her book went live, people bought it.
They wrote reviews (106 of them from around the world).
Book clubs featured it and asked Melanie to come speak to the group. (A real book club; not one asking her to pay.)
Other therapists wanted to teach the method, so she created some type of licensing for them to do so.
She led with the method and became known for it, so it elevated her practice.
She held classes on some of the elements from her method, such as paid meditations and workshops.
It allowed her to leverage her therapy so she did not have to rely on 1:1 patients.
She Made Back Her Investment
As you can imagine, Melanie's practice became very financially solid because of the clients and opportunities the book provided to create multiple streams of income.
But here's the best thing about it: About 2 years ago, Melanie told me she made her investment back solely from book sales. That included my fee plus what she paid for her author's copies, since she sold many copies to live audiences.
This is in addition to all the other income from teaching the method, having others teach it, 1:1 clients she attracted because of the method.
Melody launched her book in June 2021 and she's using it to this day.
Not only did it allow her to leverage her practice, it turned her into quite the celebrity in her realm.
